Jeremiah Fox, a resident of Lake Geneva, roasted his own coffee for about 2 years before opening his own shop. Now with his small commercial roaster, he is able to share his craft with local restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores.
Because Jeremiah is legally blind, he uses his keen sense of smell, hearing, and taste to create his roast profiles using the assistance of talking timers and tactile points on his machine's controls so he can adjust the temperature and air flow.
Thank you to all the schools and businesses that visited our facility this summer to learn more about the roasting process.
What makes LGCR different?
Small batch roasting for quality and consistency
Locally roasted to assure beans are fresh
Clean Air Roasting: 95% of roasters use natural gas which produces hydrogen sulfide on the beans and in the air. Our 'clean-air' process allows us to package our beans immediately to assure freshness. We believe the roasting process makes our coffees naturally sweet and smooth and more stomach friendly.
-We want to educate you on how the
